Volunteers
The key ingredient to running the Award at Northpine is the volunteers. These are the people who mentor the participants of the Award through their chosen activities.
Also there are volunteers that help out with the Adventurous Journey Expeditions. These camps could not operate without those who give up their time to help out on camps. We are very thankful to all our volunteers.
In order to assist volunteers in being familiar with the program there is a training package provided by the Queensland State Award Office. There is only the first module there but others will follow later. Click on the link below to begin.

Below in the files section is the volunteer pack that participants need to provide their assessors for their chosen activities.
All volunteers must:
be 18 years of age or older
agree to the volunteer code of conduct
get a blue card (a 'Working with Children Check').
Finally Northpine is required to keep a register of all volunteers at Northpine.
